Travelling with a Pet

I was surprised when I was asked to secure a Bill of Lading and pay 350 pesos for Nicole while checking in at Trans-Asia Shipping coz it's not the case with Cebu Ferries. Yes, you don't need to shed an extra cash for Pet Fare with Cebu Ferries, they will just look for the permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry.

So, I have no choice but to pay and insisted to put Nicole in the airconditioned lobby of Tourist Class despite telling me to just leave her in the very hot area (near machine room) in the Economy Class as she might frighten and disturb people from sleep during the night. So the economy class passengers will not complain or have no right to complain if she misbehaves in their area? Thankfully though, Nicole was behaved all night sleeping in her travelling kennel in an air-conditioned area and didn't force the ferry staff to take her back on where she should stay.

Here's the travelling pet in a multi-purpose kennel - travellers charging their phones put them on top of the kennel.
